Hands-On MIDI Control and Four-Track Sequencing in One Surface

The Behringer BCR32 combines a deeply assignable USB/MIDI control surface with the ZAQ Audio Zaquencer, giving you 32 multi-purpose encoders, 20 programmable buttons and a 32-step, four-track sequencer in one compact unit. Eight encoders add push functionality, while four virtual groups let the same hardware controls cover larger mappings without overcrowding the panel.

The Zaquencer supports mono and polyphonic drum and note tracks, with storage for up to 192 patterns, each containing four tracks. Two independent MIDI controls per track can handle program change, aftertouch, pitch bend or CC data, so sequences can automate more than notes alone.

Four CV/Gate and Sync connections extend sequencing to synthesisers and drum machines, while two assignable footswitch inputs add hands-free control. MIDI In, dual MIDI Out and a merge function also let the BCR32 operate as a USB-to-MIDI interface. An OLED display and multi-colour LED feedback keep complex assignments visible during use.
