The Baggs Session VTC takes the tone-shaping ideas of the Session DI and builds them directly into an active undersaddle pickup system. Its Element pickup feeds an all-discrete Class-A FET preamp, with harmonic Saturation adding adjustable warmth and depth to the lower frequencies before the signal even leaves the guitar.

The onboard Comp-EQ uses three-band compressive equalisation to smooth common problem frequencies without flattening your playing dynamics. A soundhole-mounted Tone control then lets you move between warmer and clearer voicings, while Master Volume keeps overall level close at hand. Phase inversion gives you another practical tool for improving the sound and controlling feedback on stage.

Saturation can be fine-tuned to suit the individual guitar using the included adjustment tool, and a multi-segment battery check helps you keep track of the remaining power level. The system also includes a Velcro battery bag and extra adhesives. Professional installation is required.
