The Baggs Para DI combines an acoustic preamp, detailed EQ and direct box in one floor unit, giving you control over your sound before it reaches the PA. Its high-graded FET preamp adds subtle analogue warmth even with the EQ set flat, while adjustable input gain lets you match the unit to either passive or active pickups.

The five-band EQ gives you plenty of room to tune the sound to your instrument and the room. A variable midrange band lets you target the frequencies that need attention, while the tunable notch and phase inversion controls are particularly useful when a resonant frequency starts feeding back on stage.

XLR and 6.35 mm (1/4") outputs let you feed a mixer and other equipment, while Volume, Bass, Mid, Presence, Treble and Gain controls keep the main adjustments close at hand. The Para DI runs from a 9V battery or 48V phantom power and can be used with acoustic guitar, violin, mandolin, upright bass, banjo and other pickup-equipped acoustic instruments.
