Natural Mic Detail with Low-End Support for the Stage

The Baggs Anthem combines an undersaddle Element pickup with the TRU MIC system to give you a more natural amplified acoustic sound without relying on digital modelling. The microphone handles most of the guitar’s frequency range, while the Element pickup supports the lowest frequencies, helping the result stay open and detailed through the mids and highs without losing body underneath.

The TRU MIC mounts to the underside of the bridge plate and uses noise-cancelling technology to reduce the boxy, reflective sound you can get from inside an acoustic guitar. At the soundhole, the lightweight preamp puts volume, mix, phase inversion, battery check and mic level controls within easy reach. The mix control lets you move from the TRU MIC with low-frequency Element support through to the full-range Element pickup when you need a different balance or more feedback resistance.

The active system suits steel-string and 12-string acoustic guitars, runs from a 9V battery and requires professional installation.
