Torrefied Spruce Response in a Slim, Stage-Ready Dreadnought
The Baggs AEG-1 pairs a solid Torrefied Sitka Spruce top with an Indian Rosewood back and Poplar-ply sides, giving you a thinline Dreadnought that still has plenty of acoustic warmth and body. The Spruce is heat-treated in an oxygen-free environment to remove excess moisture and oil, while the neck-support construction lets the top and back move more freely when you play.
The slimmer body sits comfortably against you, and the African Mahogany Slim C neck feels easy to move around. A 406.4 mm (16") radius Indian Rosewood fingerboard, 651 mm (25-5/8") scale and 43 mm (1.7") nut keep the playing feel familiar and versatile.
The Natural gloss finish shows off the darker colour of the Torrefied Spruce. Plugged in, the custom HiFi Duet combines bridge-plate pickups with the Silo microphone, with Volume, Mix, Tone, Phase and Mic Level controls for shaping your live sound. A gig bag, soundhole cover and adjustment tools are included.
