Full Acoustic Character from a Slimmer, Stage-Focused Dreadnought

The Baggs AEG-1 gives you the presence of a Dreadnought without the usual depth hanging off your body. Its thinline construction sits comfortably against you, while the solid Sitka Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back still produce plenty of warmth and low-end body. The rigid Poplar-ply sides and neck-support system take structural load away from the top and back, letting them respond more freely when you dig in.

The African Mahogany Slim C neck feels streamlined without becoming insubstantial, paired with a 406.4 mm (16") radius Indian Rosewood fingerboard and 651 mm (25-5/8") scale. The dark Sunburst gloss finish gives the Spruce top a moodier look than the Natural version.

For live work, the custom HiFi Duet pairs bridge-plate pickups with the Silo microphone, blending direct attack with more of the air and dimension you hear from the guitar acoustically. Volume, Mix, Tone, Phase and Mic Level controls keep that balance adjustable on stage. A gig bag, soundhole cover, mic gain tool and truss rod tool are included.
