Focused Hollow Body Punch with Left-Handed Playability
The left-handed Gretsch G5422GLH Electromatic delivers the full-bodied punch and chime of a hollow body while keeping the response focused enough for louder playing. Trestle block bracing increases contact between the laminated Maple top and back, giving notes a faster attack, more snap and sustain while helping reduce unwanted feedback.
FT-5E Filter’Tron pickups keep chords clear and defined, with enough presence to cut through a band mix. Individual pickup volumes, master tone and master volume with treble bleed give you practical control over blends and let the top end stay intact as you roll the volume back.
The Classic C Maple neck offers a comfortable, familiar shape, while the 305 mm (12”) Laurel fingerboard and 22 medium jumbo frets make bends and position shifts feel smooth. A 625 mm (24.6”) scale keeps the strings responsive, and the double cutaway gives easy access up the neck.
