This Jag-Stang is perfectly capable of producing the same kind of heavy grunge tones favoured by Kurt, as well as being versatile enough to excel in other dirty and clean styles.
An Alder body creates a punchy, powerful tone, perfect for big grungey riffs, while a Slim "C" profile 24"-scale Maple neck, and 7.25"-radius Rosewood fingerboard are perfect for hours of comfortably playing your favourite licks. A pair of vintage-style pickups (one humbucker and one single-coil), combined with Mustang slider switches, allow for a huge range of sonic flexibility via a variety of in- and out-of-phase tones.
