The Fender Player Stratocaster HSS, finished in Dealer Exclusive Fiesta Red with Matching Headstock, is packed full of authentic Fender playability and tone, with a few modern updates. With a pair of Player Series Alnico V Single-Coil pickups in the neck and middle position, you get that classic Strat tone - a clear and articulate combination of chimey high end, mids with a kick, and robust low end. With a Player Series Alnico II Humbucking pickup in the bridge, you also get huge, warm humbucking tones. Combine these with a five-way pickup selector switch, master volume, and two tone controls, and the sonic possibilities are almost endless. 

True to its name, the Player Stratocaster plays as well as it sounds, with a Satin Urethane finished, Modern "C" profile Maple neck, as well as a 9.5" radius Maple fretboard with 22 Medium Jumbo frets. Another modern upgrade of the Player Stratocaster HSS is the upgraded 2-Point Synchronised Tremolo system with Bent Steel Saddles. This system reduces the amount of friction against the posts, simultaneously increasing the smoothness of playability, as well as increasing tuning stability.
