The Fender Dave Murray Signature Stratocaster HHH RW 2-Colour Sunburst is built around the long-time Iron Maiden guitarist’s approach to tone and playability, combining a familiar Strat platform with a heavier, high-output setup designed for modern rock and metal. It’s based on the style of axe Dave Murray has relied on for decades, providing consistent performance under demanding stage conditions.

The alder body keeps the core tone balanced, while the three Seymour Duncan humbuckers shift the response away from traditional Strat brightness. The Hot Rails in the neck and bridge deliver thick, compressed output with strong sustain, while the JB Jr. in the middle adds a slightly more open, cutting voice. This setup keeps notes focused and controlled under high gain, with enough flexibility to shape different tones through the 5-way switching and volume and tone controls.

The compound-radius fingerboard moves from 9.5" at the nut to 14" higher up, so chords feel comfortable down low while bends and lead playing feel smoother further up the neck. The Floyd Rose double-locking system keeps tuning stable through heavy tremolo use, dives, and wide vibrato, maintaining pitch even under aggressive playing.
