Powerful dreadnought projection with feedback-resistant stage control

The Cole Clark CCFL3EC-HBE Touring Series Dreadnought pairs a solid AAA Huon Pine top with AAA Australian Blackwood back and sides, delivering strong projection with a balanced amplified response. Huon Pine offers a clear, responsive attack suited to strumming, while Blackwood contributes warmth and midrange body. The internally carved top is thicker through the centre and thinner toward the edges, increasing responsiveness while maintaining structural strength. A larger soundhole and double V bracing with Mini-X reduce excessive low-end build-up, which helps control feedback when amplified.

Spanish Heel construction integrates the neck into the body for improved sustain and long-term stability. A Queensland Maple neck with a 25.5″ scale, 44mm nut width and 12″ radius ebony fingerboard supports confident fretting and dynamic rhythm work. Ebony’s density slightly reduces bottom-end bloom, tightening the response of a large dreadnought body.

The PG3 three-way pickup system blends a suspended bridge piezo for low frequencies, a face sensor crossed over at 350Hz for mids and a microphone at 6kHz for high detail. This design delivers a controlled, natural amplified tone with strong resistance to feedback. Finished in natural satin nitrocellulose and supplied with a tweed hard case.
