Yamaha APXT2EW 3/4-Size Exotic Wood Acoustic Guitar w/ Pickup

APXT2 is a 3/4 size version of the world best-selling acoustic-electric guitar, the APX500III. This fun and well-constructed compact guitar makes great company when you're on the road. APXT2 features the A.R.T.-based pickup system and Yamaha's proprietary tuner with great sensitivity and accuracy for quick tuning. APXT2EW-LAB comes in an Exotic Wood finish and has a Spruce top, Meranti back and sides and Rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Includes a gig bag.

This is a small bodied guitar with a short scale neck making it ideal for children and adults with small hands or with physical limitations e.g. arthritis. It is a quality instrument with the attention to detail that Yamaha is renowned for. With small guitars there is usually a trade off between the compact size and the tone and volume it can deliver. Acoustically this little Yamaha doesn’t compare with a larger guitar but it comes with a pickup and when plugged into an acoustic guitar amplifier or running into a PA system the instrument delivers the sonic quality that makes it a useful tool for any singer songwriter. I am happy with my APXT2 and consider it excellent value for money .
