This used Warwick RockBass Star Bass Daphne Blue suits players who want a bass that brings some old-school hollowbody character, but still feels controlled enough for regular band use. The semi-hollow maple body gives it that airy, open low end and a slightly looser, more rounded response than a standard solidbody, while the passive MEC Vintage single-coils help keep the note shape clear and defined instead of turning woolly. That makes it a good fit for soul, indie, blues, roots rock, and anything that benefits from a thicker, more acoustic-feeling low end.

The 32" medium scale is a big part of the feel here.
