This used 1981 Martin D-18 is a superb example of a well-preserved vintage dreadnought. Featuring a solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, it delivers the classic Martin tonal balance—warm lows, clear mids, and sparkling highs. Its low-profile mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard make for a smooth, comfortable playing experience, while the aged tonewood provides a mature, resonant voice that’s ideal for recording or live acoustic performance. Recently professionally set up, this guitar plays beautifully and is structurally sound with only light cosmetic wear. The original Martin tuners have been upgraded to Sperzel chrome tuners for improved tuning stability. It comes complete with its original Martin hardshell case.
