This used 1970 Martin D12-20 is a rare 12-string acoustic that captures the depth and warmth of vintage Martin craftsmanship. With a solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, it delivers a rich, shimmering tone with excellent projection and clarity. The non-scalloped X-bracing and rosewood fretboard add to its classic dreadnought resonance, while the wide 1 7/8" nut and 25.4" scale offer a spacious, articulate playing experience. Recently set up, this guitar plays beautifully for its age and holds tune well across all twelve strings. Cosmetically, it shows honest wear consistent with a life of music-making, but remains structurally sound with no cracks or repairs. Complete with its original Martin hardshell case, this is a highly collectable piece perfect for players and collectors alike.
At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this Martin D12-20 offers timeless tone and character that only a vintage 12-string can deliver.
