It has been modified with Tonerider rebel 90 pickups and an upgraded Gotoh bridge, but includes the original pickups and bridge in the gig bag.

Lightweight Japanese-built S with upgraded P90-style bite

This used Ibanez SCA220 S-Classic electric guitar is a Japanese-made FujiGen instrument that blends the slim ergonomics of the S series with a more traditional fixed-bridge layout. The mahogany body keeps the weight low while adding warmth and sustain, and the sculpted body shape sits close to the player, reducing fatigue during long sessions. A bolt-on maple neck with Ibanez’s All Access Neck Joint provides smooth upper-fret reach, while the slightly shorter 25.1 inch scale creates a subtly looser string feel than standard 25.5 inch designs, aiding vibrato and bends.

This example has been upgraded with Tonerider Rebel 90 pickups, replacing the original humbuckers. Using twin Alnico 2 magnets, the Rebel 90s sit between single-coil and humbucker behaviour, delivering strong low end, crisp highs, and a more open midrange response. The result is clearer note separation under gain and a rawer attack for clean and edge-of-breakup tones. An upgraded Gotoh bridge improves tuning stability and feel, while the original Ibanez pickups and bridge are included in the gig bag for future restoration.
