The Roland TD-17KV2 V-Drums Electronic Drum Kit is the most affordable way to experience the acclaimed TD-17 V-Drums series. Built around the upgraded TD-17 module, this highly expressive drum kit fits a lot into its compact footprint. With a stand-mounted 10-inch hi-hat and toms, it’s ideal for apartments and smaller homes where space may be at a premium. And once you’re behind the kit, the TD-17KV2 lets your technique and expression shine through, backed with inspiring training tools to push you further.
The TD-17KV2 features the TD-17v2.0 module, which provides more features and functions than the previous module, to level up this kit's performance. Ten completely new kits have been added, as well as ten that were previously only available in the top-tier VAD series kits. Sound shaping tools are now available as well, so you can explore compression and reverb functions to refine your sound, as well as 11 new MFX like EQ, Spectrum, Low Boost and Enhancer. Another major difference between the TD-17KV2 and the previous model, are the new thin V-Cymbals, which flex and swing, which feels more natural and responsive to your playing. Roland Cloud Kit Contents support has also been added in this update.
An updated TD-17 sound engine, 12-inch mesh-head snare, and newly developed thin cymbals deliver a high-end experience that’s stunningly close to playing acoustic drums. Meanwhile, an array of built-in coaching functions track your technique, measure your progress, and increase your motivation every day.
