The Orange U.S.A. Marcus King MK Ultra Guitar Amp Head is a limited edition amp (150 units worldwide) designed in collaboration with guitar prodigy and Grammy Award-nominated singer-songwriter Marcus King. This hand-wired 30-watt all-valve guitar amplifier features premium components including American-made custom Heyboer transformers and a unique circuit design that offers a new approach to the trademark Orange sound.

The MK Ultra is not a copy of a previous design with slight modifications, but a unique innovation that brings together classic American and British tonal sensibilities. Its carefully tuned input circuitry responds amazingly well to different volumes and tone settings on your guitar and takes pedals extremely well, moulding them into the tone instead of sitting them on top.

With its pair of 12AX7 preamp valves feeding into a power amp section consisting of two 6L6GC power valves that are cathode-biased, the MK Ultra brings out all the harmonics and touch sensitivity that Marcus demands. Although it's a unique artist signature model, players from many different genres will be able to dial in their own perfect tones.

The three-knob design of the MK Ultra features independent EQ controls in different parts of the circuit that were voiced for Marcus, making it impossible to dial in a bad sound. The Volume knob is as much a tone control as the Sing and Deep controls due to the circuit design and how it interacts with the dynamics of your playing. The Sing/Treble Control brings you the tone you need for the atmosphere you're playing in while the Deep/Bass Control thickens the overall sound.
