The Ibanez RGD71ALA 7-String Axion Label electric guitar features a longer than usual 26.5" scale length, optimized for the demands of down-tuning.  The longer scale length provides a stable platform to obtain the thick, rich tone required when tuning down to lower pitches.  A comforable and light-weight layered Ash/Nyatoh RGD body is capped perfectly with a Poplar Burl top finished in Charcoal Burst Black Stained Flat.  The Nitro Wizard 5 piece Panga Panga/Walnut neck is fast and slim - ideal for speed soloing whilst also providing extended sustain.  The neck is capped off with a Macassar Ebony fretboard with 24 Sub Zero treated frets and Luminlay dots, a real treat to shred on!

The RGD71ALPA features a pair of Bare Knuckle Aftermath-7 pickups.  Brutal by nature, these pickups are handwound in the UK and feature articulate voicing for soloing and accelerated bass response for fast triff racking.  If you love the heavier genres, this guitar will bring it's A game!
