Gibson Custom Shop 60th Anniversary 1961 "Les Paul" SG Standard W/Sideways Vibrola Cherry Red - SGSR60THVOCHNSP1
Gibson Custom Shop is the pinnacle of craftsmanship, quality, and sound excellence. Each instrument celebrates Gibson's legacy through accuracy, authenticity, and attention to detail. 1961 brought some big changes to the Gibson Les Paul, most notably a sleek, all-new, double-cutaway, all-mahogany body design that would later be renamed the SG. This Gibson Custom Shop model recreates those cherished originals, complete with a Sideways Vibrola, a side-pull action vibrato that is similar to those found on models from the early 1960s. It also has a bound Authentic '61 Thin Profile mahogany neck, Kluson tuners, an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, two Custombucker pickups, CTS vintage-taper pots, and Black Beauty capacitors.

Gibson SG Custom '61 "les paul"27 September 2023This guitar is fantastic. The pickups are custom buckers unpotted and are exactly what I love. The neck is beautiful; better than a Les Paul goldtop or the Tributes and the Gibson made Epiphone Casino. It balances perfectly on my lap. No such thing as neckdive on this Sg. The finish is beautiful. Easily the best guitar I've ever owned. Even better than my '65 Gibson ES330.
