The Fender Player II FSR Stratocaster is designed for players who want familiar Strat ergonomics paired with a richer, more authoritative single-coil sound. The alder body delivers a balanced tonal foundation with clear lows and controlled mids, while the roasted maple neck adds stability and a slightly drier, immediate response. The Modern C neck profile, satin finish on the back, and rolled fingerboard edges combine to create a fast, low-friction feel that supports fluid movement across all 22 medium jumbo frets.

Custom Shop Fat ’50s single-coil pickups are the defining element of this instrument’s voice. Alnico V magnets and Formvar wire produce strong low end, open highs, and musical midrange without the sharp edge often associated with vintage-style pickups. The reverse-wound middle pickup reduces hum in positions two and four, making those classic in-between tones quieter and more usable on stage or in the studio. A two-point tremolo and ClassicGear tuners provide smooth pitch control and reliable tuning stability.
