The Fender American Vintage II 1975 Telecaster Deluxe MN, finished in Black, is part of the American Vintage II series. Much like its predecessor, the American Vintage series, the American Vintage II series revives some of the most revolutionary designs in the history of the electric guitar. Built with uncompromising detail and impeccable craftsmanship, this series features period-accurate bodies, necks and hardware, as well as some incredible finishes, and painstakingly voiced year-specific pickups. Each instrument captures the spirit of its namesake, and is a testament to authentic Fender craftsmanship and tone.

The first double-bucker solidbody Tele, known as the Telecaster Deluxe, was introduced in 1972 as the top-of-the-line model. This faithful tribute to the 75 Tele Deluxe features a pair of Authentic CuNiFe Wide-Range Humbucking pickups, a period-accurate Alder body, an eminently comfortable period-accurate 1975 "C"-profile 1-Piece Maple neck, and Maple fingerboard with 21 Medium Jumbo frets - all of which expertly captures the tone, look, and feel of the original model. To create authentic Wide-Range humbucking pickups, Fender had to resurrect CuNiFe magnets, which had been out of production since 1981, because this design was such an essential element in recreating the original Tele Deluxe tone.

Other period-accurate features abound, like a Pure Vintage 6-saddle string-through Tele bridge with brass barrel saddles, Pure Vintage Tele Deluxe machine heads, a 3-ply black/white/black pickguard, a large Strat-style headstock, comfort-contoured belly cut, and the larger-style Tele pickguard with dual volume and tone controls and a 3-way toggle located on the upper bout. Just like the original, this Tele Deluxe features an easy to adjust bullet-style extruding truss rod, and a three-bolt neck plate with Micro-Tilt mechanism. An eye-catching Black Gloss Polyurethane finish completes the vintage aesthetic, while a vintage-style black hard case with orange interior keeps your instrument protected in style.
