The EVH 5150III 50S 6L6 Head is a powerful amp designed for metal guitarists who desire Eddie Van Halen’s touring tone and performance in a smaller, portable form. This 50-watt head boasts three channels that deliver crystal-clear cleans, chunky overdrive, tight distortion and searing leads, with independent dual-concentric controls for gain and volume level matching. The amp also features seven JJ ECC83 preamp tubes, a pair of Shuguang 6L6 power tubes, and switchable output impedance (4, 8 and 16 ohms) for maximum flexibility.
