The Epiphone Explorer, finished in Ebony, is a fitting tribute to the ultra-rare 1958 classic offset. The Epiphone Explorer features a gloss Ebony finished Mahogany body and SlimTaper Mahogany neck, with Grover tuners, Epiphone ProBucker pickups and CTS electronics. ProBuckers feature materials consistent with the original Gibson P.A.F. pickups, such as 18% Nickel Silver bases and covers, sand cast Alnico II magnets and wax potting, for amazingly vintage P.A.F. tones.
