Crafted in Japan by Yamaha's expert luthiers, the Yamaha FG5 Red Label Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar, finished in Gloss Natural, takes its inspiration from the original and iconic "Red Label" Yamaha acoustic of the '60s; the same models that appeared onstage at Woodstock. A custom-treated solid Sitka Spruce top, combined with solid Mahogany back and sides, and a new scalloped bracing pattern give the FG5 greater projection, more balance, and a tone that genuinely recreates the tone and sustain of aged tonewoods.
