The Gibson Custom Shop 1957 SJ-200 in Vintage Sunburst revives the legendary flat-top acoustic in authentic detail. Built with a thermally aged Sitka spruce top and hand-selected flame maple back and sides, this Super Jumbo offers a rich, room-filling voice with bold lows and crisp highs. Traditional hand-scalloped X-bracing with hide glue maximises tonal response, while a thin nitro VOS finish adds to the vintage feel and resonance. The 2-piece maple neck with a rounded profile and rosewood fretboard provides smooth playability, topped with crown inlays and a classic stinger headstock. Finished with a moustache bridge, casted pickguard, and period-correct case, this is a true heirloom instrument.
