The Fender American Jim Root Stratocaster EB Black, is a no frills, detuned tone machine, perfect for molten metal riffs and screaming licks. This Strat does away with frivolities like tremolo arms and tone controls, and leaves only the elements essential to delivering brutal tones: a 3-way selector switch, hardtail bridge, volume control, and locking tuners. A single slab of Mahogany for a body pumps out crushing lows and mids via a pair of EMG81/60 humbucking pickups.. A super shreddable 12" to 16" compound radius Ebony fingerboard sits atop a Modern "C" profile satin-finished Maple neck that's built for speed. A striking Flat Black finish with black hardware gives the Jim Root Strat an uncomplicated yet head-turning look that matches up perfectly with its tone.
